Is Fashion Art?

Fashion design, like every other art, takes a lot of both creativity and production to get the pieces that you see out on the runways. And it doesn’t matter if it’s a simple garment, or something as crazy as Alexander McQueen’s Armadillo boots—it all has to come from someone’s mind to make it physical.

Very famous art:

Things that come to our minds, by putting it out from our minds into a solid form is called an art.

Can you disagree that fashion is NOT the same thing?

This came to Vincent van Gogh’s head

This is an art.

This came to Edvard Munch’s Head

This is also, an art…

Now this came to the head of someone called Julia Trembicki;

This too….is an art.

Now let’s see for fashion…

(Zuhair Murad)

These came to their heads. They put it out from their minds into a solid form.

That’s art for me; at least. No matter how wild the fashion designers’ senses are, it will always be some form of art.
